Blacktail Mountain Ski Area is located less than 30 minutes from Marina Cay on over 1000 acres of National Forest.
With an average snowfall of 250” and over 1,400 feet of elevation, Blacktail Mountain has something for everyone.
What makes Blacktail Mountain especially unique is that the parking area and lodge are located at the top of the mountain. So whether you are a first-timer or seasoned expert, you will get the best snow along with spectacular views of Flathead Lake, Glacier Park and the Mission, Whitefish and Cabinet Mountain Ranges.
Mully’s Pub is the perfect apres ski spot offering a full bar and sit down restaurant.
Looking for a quick bite? Upper Terminal Cafe is located on the second floor of the lodge and offers cafeteria style options.
Wherever to settle at the lodge you’ll enjoy the cozy fireplaces and incredible views before heading back out on the slopes.
Didn’t pack your skis? Not a problem. Blacktail Mountain has a full service rental shop that is fully equipped to take care of all your skiing and snowboarding needs.

Interested in cross-country skiing? The Blacktail Mountain cross-country ski trails are located off Blacktail Road about 8 miles up from US 93.
The trails are groomed for classic and skate skiing seven days a week from December 1 through March 31, weather permitting.
The trails are maintained by the North Shore Nordic Club thanks to volunteers and local fundraising efforts. Visit their website at www.northshorenordic.org.
